Introducing LAMISSION: The Journey Begins with “Water to Wine”
There is a new gospel music group getting ready to make its introduction, and its name is LAMISSION.
LAMISSION is being introduced through a two-song single called “Water to Wine,” featuring two tracks: “Water to Wine” and “Came to Bring Mercy.” This release is the beginning of a much bigger musical journey that will continue with the upcoming album Gospel Chronicles Vol. 1, scheduled for release on November 1.
The two songs on this single are designed to give listeners their first introduction to what LAMISSION is about—bringing biblical stories and messages to life through music.
Water to Wine
The title track, “Water to Wine,” tells the story of Jesus' miracle at the wedding in Cana, where He turned water into wine. The story comes from the second chapter of the Gospel of John and is presented by LAMISSION through a combination of storytelling, rap, spoken-word dialogue, worship, and gospel elements.
Rather than simply retelling the biblical account, LAMISSION uses music to help listeners experience the story and the moment when an ordinary situation becomes something extraordinary.
Came to Bring Mercy
The second song, “Came to Bring Mercy,” continues the introduction to LAMISSION's approach to gospel music, focusing on the message of Jesus and His purpose of bringing mercy.
Together, these two songs give listeners a preview of the type of music and storytelling that LAMISSION will bring to the full Gospel Chronicles project.

Gospel Chronicles Vol. 1
The original plan was for NOWRAW MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT to have Gospel Chronicles to arrive earlier in the year, but the release was pushed back while Conscious D MOD's music received attention and priority.
Now the schedule is set for November 1.
Gospel Chronicles Vol. 1 is much more than a collection of gospel songs. It is the beginning of a larger three-volume musical journey through the Gospels.
The first volume focuses on the first eleven chapters of the Gospel of John, taking biblical events, encounters, teachings, and miracles and transforming them into songs and musical stories.
LAMISSION's sound brings together gospel, contemporary Christian music, hip-hop, R&B, pop, rock, and theatrical storytelling to tell these stories in a way that can connect with today's listeners.
The goal is simple: take stories that people may have heard before and present them in a way that allows listeners to hear them, feel them, and look at them from another perspective.
This Is Just the Beginning
“Water to Wine” is not the full story. It is the introduction.
It gives listeners their first opportunity to hear LAMISSION before Gospel Chronicles Vol. 1 arrives on November 1. From there, the journey will continue through additional volumes, expanding the musical story and bringing more of the Gospel narrative to life.
LAMISSION is stepping onto the scene with a mission: to tell the story, bring the message through music, and introduce a new generation to these timeless stories in a different way.
